Midweek is a great Christian education program for children in grades 1 - 6. The basics of the Christian faith are taught using Luther's Small Catechism as a guide. We provide devotion and prayer, snacks, singing, and a lesson every Wednesday, unless school (USD 299) is not in session. We typically start in September and conclude in April. See the registration letter for specific dates or contact the church office.
We invite all children to attend, regardless of church affiliation. The school district provides bussing from the Lucas-Sylvan Elementary school to Bethlehem. It is the responsibility of a parent or guardian to pick up the child. Lucas area children may be able to ride the activities bus from Sylvan to Lucas if that helps with transportation needs (contact the church office or the school office).
